This is a very cute little cafe tucked away amongst the other businesses in the main street of Te Awamutu. Its very small but has lots of great options. We had our dog so we were pleased to see they had outdoor seating available. This is a great cafe if you are keto as a lot of the menu and cabinet were keto options. Our hot chocolates were the perfect temperature and tasted delicious, and the hot chips were perfectly crispy! The aioli was so yummy, too! The only thing was the cup that was served with the coke zero still had bubbles in it from being cleaned - but at least it had been cleaned right!? A great little spot to have a snack or some lunch!

Passing through Te Awamutu and saw this cafe was well thought of and it proved to be a great experience. Friendly efficient staff, great food selection, delicious coffee and the best date scone I’ve had in a while. Nice touches too. The cafe is very clean and light, nice art on the walls for sale and gentle background music. One small thing is it’s very reflective surfaces mean it’s loud when full and could be a challenge for those with reduced hearing. Well worth a visit and the Poke Bowl Iooked delicious - next time!

The Vegan Poke bowl at Pickle and Plum was one of the most delicious meals I’ve possibly ever had ! Could easily fill two people for lunch and had the most amazing flavours. Will definitely be going back for another. As an extra touch it would be lovely to have some vegan baked goods in the cabinet !

Seriously impressed with the poke bowl I ordered here. By far the best meal I've had in Te Awamutu. Ingredients and flavours were perfectly balanced. Will be back to try the bánh xèo! Compliments to the chefs they should be proud of their work

We love coming here for brunch, especially for the Beef Pho. Had yummy banana waffles as well last time we came around and loved them. Keep up the good work!

A bit small area, so if you come with big group better to call up first and ask for table. We just got lucky with our 8 people group. Food wise was good. Not really impressed with Pho, which I had high hope for. A bit sad Banh Mi doesn't have pate (but I understand probably not everyone in Te Awamutu like pate). The Cambodian beef stew was surprisingly really nice, Banh Xeo (with generous lettuces and herbs) and pork burger were excellent. My cousin had chicken curry soup which he loved. Lovely staffs, quick service. I paid for 4 of us ~$140, not bad price for asian food.
